You can set up a preorder for a publication once it has been created in the platform.

To do this you must provide the following metadata:

You can then change the publication's status to Online.

Only certain retailers support preordering, namely: Apple, Amazon, Kobo, Google and certain bookstores in the Dilicom France network. For most of these partners, it is mandatory to submit a file (primarily the EPUB file intended for sale) at least two weeks before the sale date. This delay allows them to carry out the various quality control tests before the publication goes on sale and also ensures that they can meet the delivery deadlines for preorders.

In the case of Kobo, the file must be present to launch the preorder.

Not sure of the date and price of the publication? Provide a later release date or a higher price than anticipated.

A preorder will be cancelled if the book is released later or is offered at a higher price than expected at the time it was preordered by the reader, but will remain in effect if the book is released earlier or at a lower price.

The only metadata that can never be changed is the ISBN. However, you can edit any other metadata at any time, and the update will be automatically propagated to all points of sale.
