The Allow patrons to remove content from their history feature gives your library patrons the ability to remove items from their loans and holds history.

Each patron can remove items either one by one, using a Remove button that appears next to each history item in their account, or all at once by clicking on the Clear history button.

Removed items will no longer appear in the patron's history and it will no longer be possible to see the patron's information linked to the loan information in the Administration site.

To enable the feature:

  • Go to the Organization section, under the Libraries tab.
  • Click on the Edit button at the top right.
  • In the Settings section, check the box Allow patrons to remove content from their history.

Grouping of libraries

If you are a library manager who is part of a grouping that controls the various settings related to loan and hold limits, you will not be able to access this section. The feature must be enabled by the grouping administrators for all of its libraries.
