In the Content curation section, on the first tab named Featured selections, click on Add a featured selection.
Title, description, display order and activation of the selection
The form for adding or modifying a selection allows:
- indicate the title of the selection,
- add a description of its content,
- specify the display order of the titles within the selection,
- activate the selection.
Checking the Active box makes the featured selection available on the website and it becomes visible to patrons on the Featured selections page. Thus, a selection that should not be visible on this page can be deactivated, without being deleted.
Images
A banner is the image used in the header of the selection's detail page. The carousel image is used to represent a selection added to a carousel section of the home page.
Viewing the list of titles
You can view the list of publications included in a selection by clicking on the View list option. These titles can be removed from the selection by clicking on the red remove from list icon.
Searching and adding publications or importing an ISBN list
Searching and importing are the two methods of adding publications to a selection.
- Searching allows you to manually add publications to a selection. The search field allows you to search by title, ISBN, author, publisher and description. You can add publications to the search results by clicking on the green add to list icon.
- Importing a list of ISBNs allows you to automatically add publications to the selection. Enter all the desired ISBNs (one per line) in the text field and click on the Import button.
