The LCP (Licensed Content Protection) lock is an open copyright protection solution developed by the Readium Foundation, which has over 80 members from the book industry.
LCP is available for consumer sales and for digital lending in libraries. It requires the installation of a compatible (free) reading application and the creation of a password that unlocks access to content, but does not limit the number of activations per user. Our Cantook reading application uses the LCP lock.
